No phone numbers. Ever.

Most Indian insurance sites exist to capture your phone number and resell it to agents. ClaimRatio does not. We never ask for your phone number, email, or any personal identifier to use the calculators, tracker, or comparison tools. You can read the full IRDAI claim settlement ratio tables without signing in.

What we collect

The only personal data we receive is what you type into a calculator (such as your age, city, or sum assured preference). These inputs are processed in your browser or sent to our server only long enough to return a result. They are not written to a database and are not tied to your identity.

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are rotated on the hosting provider's standard schedule.

Analytics and advertising

We use Vercel Analytics, which collects aggregate page view counts and performance metrics without tracking individuals across sites. If we show advertising or affiliate offers from insurance aggregators, those partners may set their own cookies on the pages you visit after clicking through. We do not share your inputs with them.

Data sources

Claim settlement ratio data on ClaimRatio is sourced from the IRDAI annual reports published by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India. These reports are public documents and do not contain any personal user information.
