Informational use only
ClaimRatio publishes public data about Indian insurers, including claim settlement ratios, premium ranges, and policy features. The content is educational and is not insurance advice, a recommendation, or a substitute for speaking with an IRDAI licensed insurance advisor. Always verify policy terms and premiums with the insurer before you buy.
Data accuracy
Claim settlement ratios and insurer financials are sourced from the IRDAI annual reports. We publish the year and source with every table. IRDAI occasionally revises past figures; where that happens we update the site and note the change. Premium estimates on the calculators are indicative, based on public rate cards, and will differ from the final quote issued by an insurer after underwriting.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links on ClaimRatio point to insurance aggregators or insurer websites that pay a commission when a visitor requests a quote or buys a policy. This funds the site and keeps access free. We do not inflate an insurer's ranking on our tracker in exchange for a commission. Rankings follow the public IRDAI data exactly as published. If you would prefer to skip the affiliate link, you can always go directly to the insurer's own website.
Acceptable use
You may read, print, and reference ClaimRatio content for personal or internal research use. Do not scrape the site at a rate that interferes with other users, and do not republish tables or calculator output as if they were your own data. A citation and a link back to the source page is appreciated.
Liability
ClaimRatio is provided as is. We do not accept liability for claim rejections, premium disputes, or losses that follow a purchase made after reading this site. Your insurance contract is with the insurer, and only the policy document governs the cover you actually receive.
